ISO 21378 Audit Data Collection — built into every dataset

Every GLAccount and every row of journal_entries.csv generated by VynFi now carries the ISO 21378:2022 audit-data classification — a stable global taxonomy with 5 Level-1 categories (Asset / Liability / Equity / Revenue / Expense), 28 Level-2 classes, and 45 Level-3 sub-classes.

This is the standard that audit-tool vendors quietly adopted to route GL data into their procedure pipelines without fighting through 200 firm-specific COA conventions. Caseware Cloud, IDEA, ACL, MindBridge, and the Big-4-internal data-analytic platforms (EY Helix, KPMG Clara Analytics, PwC Halo, Deloitte Argus) all support ingestion by ISO 21378 Level-2 class. SAF-T (Portugal), FEC (France), GoBD (Germany), and IRS-820 (US) export formats derive cleanly from the ISO codes.

VynFi-generated datasets import without manual COA mapping. The L2 code is the load-bearing field for procedure routing; the L3 code refines for procedures that need finer granularity (receivables aging by domestic / foreign / intercompany; cash disclosure separating restricted from unrestricted, and so on).
